How Boardfy works on the Worten marketplace
Worten is one of Portugal’s major electronics and appliance chains and runs its own marketplace on worten.pt. On the same product page, Worten and external sellers can both sell, each with its own price and delivery time.
The Worten marketplace runs on Mirakl. Boardfy connects to your seller account through its API and downloads your catalogue. Every 6 hours it checks Worten’s offer and every seller’s, with or without delivery costs. Every 30 minutes it applies your rules and changes your prices directly on Worten. If you wish, the same change can also be sent to your shop or ERP.

Monitoring
Worten or a seller: who has the best price
For each product, Boardfy shows you all its offers on worten.pt sorted by price: Worten’s own offer, if there is one, and the marketplace sellers’, with your position.
You can see straight away whether you are up against Worten or another seller. It is Boardfy’s competitor monitoring applied to Worten.
Pricing intelligence
Your Worten catalogue, by position
Boardfy groups your catalogue by your position on Worten: the products where you have the best price, those where you are second or third, those outside the top three offers and those only you sell.
You can see how many products are close to first place and how many are far from it.
Seller filter
Choose which Worten sellers you compare yourself with
You can include or exclude sellers from the comparison, one by one or by a pattern in their name: for example, you can leave out sellers of refurbished products or your own distributors.
Boardfy calculates your position using only the sellers you choose, and your rule acts on that position.

An example: the “best price” rule on Worten
You sell a Bluetooth speaker at €129.99 including VAT, it costs you €80 excluding VAT, and the cheapest offer is Worten’s, at €119.99; yours is third. Your rule says “best price with a minimum margin of 12%”, with the margin calculated on the selling price excluding VAT (23% in mainland Portugal).
Boardfy works out that at €119.98 you have the best price and keep an 18.0% margin, so it changes your price on Worten through the Mirakl API. To keep this example simple, we only subtract the product cost; Boardfy also subtracts the marketplace commission, payment processing costs and any other attributable costs, all excluding tax. If Worten dropped to €104.99 tomorrow, Boardfy would not go below €111.82, your minimum price. That is what Boardfy’s dynamic pricing does on Worten.

Competing with the chain itself
When to lower and when to raise your price on Worten
On Worten you compete with the chain itself and with its marketplace sellers. These are some typical situations and what Boardfy does in each one according to your rules.
| Situation | What Boardfy does | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Worten has the best price and you are less than 10% above it | Lowers your price until you have the best price, if your margin allows | You take first place on the product page |
| A seller goes below your minimum price | Stays at your minimum price | You don’t drop below your margin |
| You have the best price and 2nd place is 6% dearer | Raises the price to just below 2nd place | You keep the best price and win back margin |
| The cheapest seller sells refurbished products | Ignores it, if you have excluded it | You compare yourself with sellers offering the same as you |
| Only you sell the product | Raises the price according to your rule | With no competition, you can win back margin |
